Integrated Learning Department

The Integrated Learning Department promotes project-based learning to improve student engagement, understanding, and performance across subject areas. We train and support new and veteran teachers to infuse creativity, technology, and service learning during in-school and after school programming. Our department also collaborates with school districts and community partners to build and sustain positive and healthy school environment.

Integrated Learning Department staff includes experts in arts integration, student wellness, school culture, service learning, after school programming, and innovate technology integration.

Alliance for Arts
Learning Leadership

The Alliance for Arts Learning Leadership of the Bay Area is a project in partnership with six other County Offices of Education in the CCESSA Region 4 (including Contra Costa, Marin, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Solano). We are working together to make a collective impact to improve student engagement and success in schools, and to create healthy communities through practice and participation in the arts. We can never accomplish individually what we can accomplish together. While individually we are capable of great work, lasting and sustained social change requires our united efforts.
