Welcome from the organizing committee of
Inventing Our Future 2016!

We are thrilled to have you join us in what we hope will be a dynamic, collaborative 3-day experience with you. This page contains the following pertinent information for you to know before we begin our journey:

Registration
Daily signing-in is required and will be open between 8:30 - 8:55 AM. Please visit the registration tables located outside of the main entrance upon arrival. Be sure to arrive no later than 8:45 AM as the program begins promptly at 9:00 AM when the Megadome doors close to the plenary.

Meals

Breakfast
Light complimentary breakfast & coffee will be provided daily.

Lunch
If you pre-ordered lunch it is available for pick up daily at 12:45 PM where the breakfast is set up between the main entrance and Chabot's Cafe. If you did not pre-order lunch, we encourage you to bring a brown bag lunch and refillable water bottle. Lunch is available for purchase from Chabot’s Café; however, to avoid the lunch line; we strongly encourage you to bring  your lunch with you daily. 

Attire
Dress in layers to accommodate to the ever-changing Bay Area weather. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can move around in with ease.

Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi- is unpredictable and the wireless signal is not strong throughout the center. If needed, there is a Wi-Fi hotspot located in the cafe.

Onsite Assistance
Volunteers wearing “green” and staff wearing “red” colored name badges are onsite to provide assistance at any time during the institute. Please feel free to approach anyone wearing a “green” or “red” colored name badge. There will also be an information table located in the Rotunda; we are available to listen to feedback, concerns or compliments!
